Every woman I know who’s serious about fashion loves shoes – and I’m no exception! The latest fall footwear trends are sprouting up all over the place, and style conscious women have a slew of choices. From slingbacks to pumps and boots to sexy evening shoes, the latest crop of fall footwear will have you clearing space in your closet just for a new pair (or five!)
Colors
This season is all about the colors! Deep, chocolate browns, dark red, gray, navy blue, fuchsia and dark green are all hot right now.
For evening footwear, metallic colors fit the bill – but please, please put away your shiny lime green pumps. You may have been able to rock that look during summer, but this season it’s all about silver, gold and bronze for evening!
Pumps
A simple pair of pumps is always in style, and this season is no exception. Pair basic black pumps with your office attire and you’ll look both stylish and office appropriate. If the classic look just isn’t for you, try an oh-so-sexy peep toe pump that’s so versatile, it can be worn to the office or a night on the town.
Mary Janes
The latest crop of Mary Janes are DEFINITELY not what you used to wear in grade school! Contrasting colors, large buckles, wide ankle straps, and mary jane-style ballet flats are all hot this season, and you should have no trouble finding a style that suits you.
Boots
What would fall be without boots?
Dressed up or down, boots are arguably the most versatile footwear around. Tuck tall suede boots into jeans, or pair with a cute knee length skirt.
Ankle boots are also hot, as are patent leather and knee high boots. A general rule? The more understated the outfit, the bolder your boots can be – and vice versa!
Evening Shoes
The hottest fall footwear trends for evening are definitely metallic heels. Both sexy and comfortable, look for dark shades to complement any evening outfit you throw together. Metallic black, silver, gold or bronze are all the rage, as are kitten heels, stilettos and platforms.
