Fashion Picks for Spring 08

While it’s not time to pack up those winter clothes just yet, I’ve compiled some of the up and coming trends for spring fashion in 2008.
Get ready to look absolutely amazing!
Color
Jewel tones were hot for winter and fall, but for spring it’s going to be all about color. Think bold colors that pop and wild prints that force you to stand out from the crowd. This mini dress from Catharine Malandrino is a fabulous example of what you can expect come spring. It’s definitely not for shy fashionistas!
Leopard
It’s easy to overdo the leopard look, but with the right style know-how, you can look amazing without looking like a creature from the jungle. For an understated yet still stylish approach, this leopard metallic halter top from Cynthia Vincent paired with a black skirt or pants and slinky heels will make you the focal point of the evening.
Feminine
Think chiffon, lace, or anything floaty for Spring – feminine clothing is totally in! This white tuxedo blouse from Zac Posen is extremely versatile, and offers a bounty of feminine details like the ¾ length sleeves and ruffled bodice.
Bold
You already know that vibrant colors will be a staple in spring 2008, but up the ante with bold accessories as well! Chunky cuff bracelets, oversized rings and large pendants are already hitting the runways, but don’t overdo this look. Pair a statement piece like a large gold bangle bracelet with an understated outfit to really rock this look.
I don’t know about you ladies, but I’m excited at the prospect of re-doing my wardrobe for Spring 2008! It promises to be an amazing season for fashion.
