Let’s face it, ladies – we know the secret to a fabulous outfit is a killer pair of heels to go with it. But what if you aren’t exactly a master when it comes to strutting your stuff in stilettos?
Have no fear; I’ve got a foolproof guide to wearing high heels like a pro. The following tips are designed to help you look fabulous in those 4-inch heels sitting in the back of your closet – and you don’t have to worry about tripping over yourself!
Comfort Counts
If the shoe doesn’t fit… don’t wear it! Comfortable heels are key, regardless of the height of the heel. If you feel like a tottering, shuffling mess in 4-inch stilettos, try a different height.
In order to truly see if the shoe works, try them on and walk around the store a few times. How do they feel? Can you walk in them? Do you feel unbalanced?
If you aren’t 100% comfortable in your new shoes, don’t buy them!
Practice Makes Perfect
The old saying is true, ladies – the more you practice something, the better you’ll get.
Prance around the house in your high heels whenever you have a few spare minutes. You might feel like a complete idiot, but trust me, you’ll be thanking yourself later on.
